The Bugle - Tea With Claire

Fine china, high tea and stimulating conversation - Claire Newton has launched a brand new year of her Tea with Claire concept aimed at bringing people together over perfectly poured cups of tea and plates of delicious treats to enjoy an enlightening, interesting and inspiring talk.

Newton will be doing a series of talks at the wonderfully elegant Saint James on Venice Luxury Boutique Hotel in Durban's leafy Morningside suburb starting on Thursday 28 February - the beginning of her four part monthly programme entitled Earl Grey Season. For the session she will be looking at Connect With Confidence.

The programme for the morning is in two parts: Claire will present Connect With Confidence. "Some people define diplomacy as the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip. I don't call this being diplomatic - I call it being assertive! Whether you are dealing with friends, clients or colleagues, HOW you communicate ultimately determines whether your relationship is clear, open and honest - or fraught with tension, misunderstanding and arguments. Join me for Tea With Claire to find out what it means to communicate assertively, why this is beneficial and how to achieve this kind of relationship with your friends, clients and colleagues," says Claire.

"My goal is to inspire you to make the changes necessary to live the life of your dreams!" says Claire.
