A new season of Tea with Claire, informative mornings and high tea, hosted by life coach and psychologist Claire Newton, will start next week. This month's event will be held at St Anne's Guest House, 26 High Road, Berea, off Peter Makoba (Ridge) Road on Thursday, February 13 from 10am to noon.

Following the success of Mastering the Art of Conversation, eminent psychologist, speaker and trainer Claire Newton presents a follow-up seminar entitled Body Language for Confidence.

PSYCHOLOGIST, speaker and trainer Claire Newton will hold a second Tea With Claire event in this series at UpMarket restatuant, 40 Gladys Mazibuko (Marriott) Road, Durban, on Thursday October 17 at 9:30am for l0am to 12noon.

It's with great excitement that Durban-based psychologist, speaker, trainer and coach - Claire Newton, announces her new tea-son of Tea with Claire' at its new home 'Market' - 40 Gladys Mazibuko Road (formerly Marriott Road).

Entitled the 'Lady Grey' Tea-son, this is a series of three talks (one per month) with the first talk - 'Mastering the art of Conversation' taking place on Thursday 19 September, 9;30am for 10am-12pm (noon).

Not everyone is surrounded by family and friends at Christmas and many people are on their own. Claire Newton has suggestions on how you can make it a happy, meaningful day.

The end of year holiday season is traditionally a time when families make plans to get together. The emphasis is very much on reunions - relatives come from far and wide, spare rooms get made up and more people are squashed around the dining room table.

Fine china, high tea and stimulating conversation - Claire Newton has launched a fresh new concept of bringing people together over cups of tea and plates of treats to enjoy an enlightening, interesting and inspiring talk.
Newton's first talk at Durban's St James on Venice Boutique Hotel in Morningside, was on the art of conversation.
The second in the series is set for 10am to noon tomorrow at the hotel. The topic is: "YOU-Q:Finding Your Inner Winner".
Newton's thought-provoking presentation will be followed by a morning high tea, against a backdrop of light music from pianist Peter Enslin.
"MY goal is to inspire people to make the changes necessary to live the life of their dreams," says Newton.

"Learning how to converse well and easily with others gives people more confidence when handling both business and social events,” explained psychologist and speaker Claire Newton. “Mastering this skill is thus an important life skill.

Claire Newton always loved hats. In fact she bought many, but didn’t wear them for a long time; until a mad hatter tea party to which she decided she had to wear her blue velvet hat. It was a turning point for her: “Perhaps it was because I was older and less self-conscious, but I just felt it was time to do what I wanted to,” she says.

Fine china, high tea and stimulating conversation – Claire Newton has launched a fresh new concept aimed at bringing people together over perfectly poured cups of tea and plates of delicious treats to enjoy an enlightening, interesting and inspiring talk.

The Durban Chapter of the Professional Speakers Association of SA (PSASA) will host its annual gala breakfast, at which five of the region's finest professional speakers will be presenting, at Sica's Guest House, Westridge, Durban, on March 24 from 7:30am to 11am.

"LIFE is wonderful, learn to look with eyes of gratitude but don't let that stop you from striving for and realising your dreams."
