Basic Counselling Skills Course

A thorough & practical foundation in the basic skills required to do lay counselling

Have you ever wished you could really help someone in crisis, instead of offering well-meant, but ultimately inadequate advice? This course will equip you with the skills you need to to listen, provide support and offer real guidance to people in need.

This course is for:

  • Ministers & religious counsellors
  • Voluntary lay counsellors
  • Teachers
  • Psychology students

No previous counselling experience needed.

Duration: 8 x 3-hour sessions, weekly

Dates: Tuesdays - 6, 13, 20, 27 February and 6, 13, 20, 27 March 2018 (6pm – 9pm)
