Over the course of my career, I have often been asked by journalists to give my expert opinion on a variety of topics, including executive burnout, assertiveness at work, and stress. I always welcome these opportunities, as it gives me the chance to touch the lives of a greater number of people than I can usually reach with one-on-one counselling, or small group training. Although I may never meet the people who read these articles and who are hopefully helped by my expertise, the knowledge that I have, in some way, bettered someone’s life is immensely gratifying.
I feel sure that when you read these articles (see below), you too will find them helpful and inspiring.

The Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA) has launched its first book, Secrets To Success In The Corporate World. It comprises 10 chapters, written by 10 members of the PSASA, and is aimed at equipping leaders who want to hone their skills and succeed in the corporate world, and in life.
My chapter is called Stop Sabotaging Your Dreams, in which I explore the reasons why we unconsciously, but effectively, sabotage our desire to live our dream life - and what we can do to change our faulty belief systems, and ultimately live the life we really want to.

The Streetwise Millionaire
Gordon Mackay's book, The Streetwise Millionaire – The Key to Retiring In 5 Years Or Less, aims to equip you with the tools you need to bring about change in your life and give you results. The advice given is based on over 20 years' experience in the business of making real money – Gordon became a multi-millionaire just seven years after being declared technically bankrupt, with debts of R5 million.
In addition to sharing his Streetwise Millionaire System(TM) with you, Gordon also asked several people to contribute their own stories of how they have succeeded in overcoming life's challenges and achieved extraordinary results by doing the right things and following their passion.
My chapter is called My Dreams And I – Living Like A Millionaire, in which I share some of my priceless life experiences gained through believing in myself and not letting fear stand in the way of living the life I've always dreamed of.

Sex Addiction: An Excuse or Illness? - Article as it appeared in the Vrouekeur magazine (Translated into English) Written by Lize Maritz
Sex addiction has recently been a focus of media attention and many people are asking the question: "Is sex addiction a real disorder or just an excuse?"
Sex addiction is a real disorder, but it may not manifest itself in the way that the average person thinks - that is, it is not necessarily about engaging in the actual act of sex frequently. A person can be classified as a sex addict without in fact having any physical sex at all!
"The basic difference between being assertive and being aggressive is how our words and behaviour affect the rights and well-being of others."
